Join Missouri State Park Staff on a 3.25-mile hike in the Newest State Park in Missouri, Bryant Creek State Park. Located just 30 minutes south east of Ava, Missouri, Bryant Creek State Park is home to impressively large oaks and shortleaf pines spanning rugged, steeply dissected river hills that front the stream for which it is named. This will be loop hike, taking place on a section of the Pike Hollow Trail, The Pike Hollow trail is a rugged natural surface trail of easy to moderate difficulty. A track chair is available for individuals with mobility issues, though it can only go on the first mile of the hike to the overlook. The hike will commence at 12:00 pm on 01/01/2025, from the main trailhead of Bryant Creek State Park. Please bring water, warm clothes, and wear good shoes for hiking. This event is free to the public.
