Take a journey through time at Graham Cave State Park. Graham Cave, a National Historic Landmark within the borders of a Missouri State Park, reveals one of the most comprehensive records of early human habitation in the United States. Hike with us to explore the natural and cultural history of the park, learn how the park's ecosystem is being restored and maintained. See restored areas that remind us of the time before prairies became forests, before settlement and urbanization, see the tools used by early humans to survive before the supermarkets arrived. Things to bring (e.g., water, snacks) Water bottle, clothing layers for cold weather, closed toe shoes with good ankle support, (snacks and hot chocolate will be provided after the hike at the park office.)
