First Day Hike at Capitol 2025 - CapitolHike25

Join Missouri State Museum staff for an urban exploration around Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, the Missouri State Capitol Complex and Jefferson City Parks' Deborah Cooper Park on Adrian's Island. Staff will provide a guided tour of the Missouri River, artwork, area history and historic buildings. This hike will cover 1.5 miles on sidewalks with some slight to moderate inclines including the Bicentennial Bridge. Please wear appropriate clothing for windy, winter weather and comfortable walking shoes. Staff will use sound system that works with standard headphones with 3.5mm headphone connection. Please bring your favorite headphones. Museum will have some ear-bud style headphones available as well.
